Oglethorpe University

Nicholas Elias Papanikolopoulus is a key alumnus of Oglethorpe soccer. 
 

Papanikolopoulus graduated from Oglethorpe with a bachelor’s in accounting. He was a member of the Oglethorpe Accounting Society club. On the field, Papanikolopoulus earned NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region first team (2013), was the 2013 SAA defensive player of the year (2013), three-time All-Conference member (2013: first team, 2011, 2012: second team), and a 2013 All-Academic. 

 

After Oglethorpe, Papanikolopoulus obtained a Master of Taxation from Georgia State. He has made a career as a tax expert, currently serving as a tax manager for Koch Industries.  

 

Papanikolopoulus is an Eagle Scout. He and his wife Kayla married in 2021.
