Hugh Knight Clement was a pitcher and second baseman.

Clement was also a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and the O Club.

After graduation, Clement served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Hugh and his wife Rachael had one daughter, one grandson, and three great-grandchildren. His older brother Heywood “Monk” and twin brother Edwin were also star Oglethorpe athletes. He passed away at age 91 on April 21st, 2007.
