Katie Kulavic Fox was a four-year starter from 2005-2009 finishing as the All-Time Leading Scorer for both men and women’s basketball as well as second in career assists in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. All four years she was selected to the All SCAC First Team selection and helped guide her team to four NCAA tournament appearances.
As a freshman, she was named the SCAC Newcomer of the Year and as a junior she was named the SCAC Player of the Year. During her junior year, she was awarded Third Team All-American honors and helped her team reach the NCAA Final Four. The outcome was not what they hoped for but, she and her teammates enjoyed every minute. For her senior season, she became a State Farm All American and the Georgia Basketball Player of the Year for both men and women’s basketball for Division III. Both her junior and senior season, she was named to the SCAC All-American Honor roll.
Throughout her four years at Oglethorpe, she was also a member of Chi Omega. She resides in Brookhaven with her husband Matt and their son, JD (3) and daughter, Sutton (1).
