Drew Findling was born December 21st, 1959 and came to Oglethorpe on an athletic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts.

Findling was a member of the Cross Country and track teams, vice president of the Oglethorpe Student Association, a member of the Politics and Pre-Law Association, was named to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
After graduating from Emory with his law degree, Findling has found extreme success in his professional career. He began his career as a public defender, and served as lead council for the first time when he was just 25 years old. From there, he became a criminal defense attorney and trial lawyer, founded his own firm, and has an impressive list of celebrities in his clientele. The Findling Law Firm has represented rappers Cardi B, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Migos (Quavo and Offset), Waka Flocka Flame, Trippie Redd, and DaBaby, plus actress Tiffany Haddish, NBA stars Shaquille O’Neil, Dennis Rodman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and many more.  He has been nicknamed ‘The Billion Dollar Lawyer’ and ‘Atlanta’s legal eagle’. 

Findling was president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) from 2018 to 2019, and was named a trustee of the NACDL Foundation for Criminal Justice in 2023. He is currently a member of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Bar Association.

In 2018 he received the NACDL's Robert C. Heeney Memorial Award. That same year The Hollywood Reporter named him one of "Hollywood's Top 20 Troubleshooters", and one of Billboard's “R&B/Hip-Hop 100 Power Players". The Atlanta Journal-Constitution named him one of Georgia’s top lawyers. In 2023 he was appointed to the Board of Advisors for the National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology and the Law.

Findling and his wife Beth have three children, two of whom are Fulton County public defenders. He still enjoys running today.
