Daniel Brown was a four-year member and two-year captain of the men’s basketball team. He was an offensive powerhouse, breaking several records during his career.

Brown currently holds the 5th highest total career points in program history. He remains in the top five for career three-point field goals and three-point field goal percentage, and in the top ten for career scoring average and rebounds. He posted the sixth highest total points in Oglethorpe history.
Brown was named an All-SCAC honorable mention in 1997, All-SCAC second team in 1998, and finally made first team honors in 1999.

Brown currently serves as CFO and Interventional Radiologist with Carolina Vascular/Asheville Radiology Health Specialists. He has three children.
