Oglethorpe University

The 1968-1969 men’s basketball team was coached by Bill Carter. They posted a 20-5 regular season record. 

The Stormy Petrels were named regional champions, but were unfortunately knocked out of the NCAA quarterfinals by Kentucky Wesleyan; who went on to claim that year’s national title.
