Oglethorpe University

Eric Quinn graduated in 2013 with a degree in economics, and was always heavily involved with Oglethorpe golf. Quinn was a key member of the 2012 NCAA Division III National Championship-winning team, and he took the SCAC individual title and player of the year honor that same year. He also set the SCAC championship record for best first-round score of 67 in 2012. 

Quinn was also a member of the 2009, 2011 and 2012 SCAC Championship teams. Quinn was named a 2013 All-American and was a four-time all-conference selection. He was named the SCAC player of the week four times in his career and was a team captain his junior and senior seasons. Quinn currently ranks fifth all-time in Oglethorpe history with four major tournament wins in his career. 

Quinn returned to Oglethorpe as an assistant coach in 2015, where he helped lead the program to many accomplishments. He was a beloved coach and member of the Petrel community who passed away at age 32 in November 2023.
