Michael “Mike” Dahl was a leading player in Coach Garland Pinholster’s wheel offense and made an NCAA tournament appearance each year of his collegiate career.

Dahl broke eight records by the end of his time at Oglethorpe. He recorded 1,070 points and 749 rebounds. He was named an Honorable Mention Little All-America in 1968. In 1969 he was named and an All-American and an NCAA South Atlantic Regional All-Tournament team honoree and MVP. Dahl was a member of Chi Phi fraternity and the Chackett Club of Chi Phi. 

Dahl was a key player on the now famed 1968-69 basketball team. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks after graduation, but was released mid-season. Today, he enjoys traveling with his wife Valerie.
