Daniel Patrick Kenzie was highly dedicated to football.
Kenzie was a member of the O Club and played on the basketball team his freshman year.Â
Kenzie hailed from Chicago, Illinois. He returned home after graduation to serve in the Chicago Police Department, then in the US Army during World War II. Kenzie was eventually promoted to Sergant at Chicago PD, and retired in 1964 after 28 years of service. In retirement, he spent 14 years as a police officer for the Metropolitan Sanitary District. He and his wife Anne had one daughter and four grandchildren. Kenzie passed away in September of 1987 at 77 years old.Â
