Theodore "Curley" Fulton

Theodore “Curly”  Walton Fulton Jr., an Atlanta native, earned a bachelors degree in commerce. He is one of only two Oglethorpe alumni to play professional football. 

Fulton wore #14 and was a guard. Oglethorpe defeated Furman 12-6 his senior season. Outside of football, Fulton was a manager of the freshman baseball team his sophomore year then the varsity team his junior year. He was a member of the O Club, secretary and treasurer for his junior class, and a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.

Fulton played 13 games in the NFL, spending two seasons (1931 and 1932) as an offensive guard with the now defunct Brooklyn Dodgers. He was a starter for 6 games in his first season, and went by Ted during his professional career. 

Fulton passed away aged 85 on March 2nd, 1991.
