Dan Torrenti graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
Torrenti was the Oglethorpe baseball team's captain for three years. He was named All-SCAC and Team MVP in 2000 and Oglethorpe Defensive Player of the Year in 2001. In 2002, he helped to lead the Stormy Petrels to win the SCAC East and was named to the All-SCAC Team, the Rawlings All-Southern Region Team, the All-SCAC Tournament Team, and earned the Team MVP for the second time.
Torrenti owned single season and/or career records in doubles, home runs, total bases, games started, runners caught stealing, and slugging percentage.
Torrenti graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Master's in Educational Leadership and Supervision. He is now an Assistant Principal and Head Baseball Coach at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Ga.
